Quick And Easy Banana Bread


Dont know what to do with your over ripe bananas?

This banana bread is so delicious you wont wanna share…

Ingredients Needed:

  • 3-4 medium ripe bananas
  • 1/4 cup honey ( if you do not have honey you can use 1/2 cup sugar of choice)
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 Tbsp plain yogurt
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil Or vegetable oil
  • 1   1/2 cups all purpose flower ( if you only have bread flower, Gluten free flour, or wheat pastry flour for example go ahead and use what you have )
  • 1   1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • A handful of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Optional but you can add 1/4 cup pecans if you like

Instructions :

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Grease your 9×5 inch bread pan
  • Mash your bananas
  • In a large mixing bowl stir the oil, mashed bananas, eggs , vanilla extract, honey until combined. Add the flour, cinnamon, salt, baking powder mix until combined
  • Fold the chocolate chips and pecans (optional) into the mix
  • Pour the batter into your greased pan
  • Sprinkle brown sugar on the top with some additional chocolate chips
  • Place on the middle rack of your oven
  • Bake for 60 minutes ( every oven is different so keep an eye out every 20 minutes)
  • Let the bread cool for at least 30 minutes before cutting into it

Add cream cheese, or butter to your warm slice of banana bread and ENJOY!
